These strings are sized for 4/4 viola, the standard full-size instrument. The A string has a ball end that fits standard fine tuners.
How long do Larsen Original strings last?
Under regular playing the tone stays consistent for several months. Replace when the sound becomes dull or intonation in the upper positions starts to go false. Wipe rosin off after each session to extend lifespan.
How long do new strings take to settle?
Allow 24 to 72 hours of normal playing for pitch to stabilise. Retune gently in small increments during the settling period.
