The Versum Solo is voiced for greater brilliance and projection, aimed primarily at solo and concerto use. If projection and cutting through an orchestra is your priority, consider the Versum Solo.
How long do Versum strings last?
Lifespan depends on playing hours, perspiration, and environment. A daily-playing professional or advanced student should expect several months of consistent tone. Replace when the sound becomes dull or unfocused.
How long do new Versum strings take to settle in?
Allow 24 to 48 hours of normal playing. Retune gently and wipe rosin residue off after each session.
Are these genuine Thomastik-Infeld strings?
