Thomastik-Infeld Alphayue cello strings are available in medium tension for 4/4, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 instruments. Select the size and individual string to suit your cello.

  • A: carbon steel core with hydronalium winding.
  • D: carbon steel core with multialloy winding.
  • G: rope core with chrome winding for 4/4; carbon steel core with chrome winding for the smaller sizes.
  • C: rope core with chrome winding.

A and D have ball ends. The 4/4 G and all C strings have crimp ball ends; smaller G strings have ball ends.
