The Vision range is widely used in orchestral sections where a consistent, focused tone is needed across long rehearsal sessions, and by players who want a reliable string that settles quickly and holds its character.

Bright, clear top voice
The A is bright and clear, with a quick response that supports articulate playing in both lyrical and virtuosic passages.
Focused, even middle
The D is focused at the tonal centre. Consistent and even under the bow, with clear projection across the full dynamic range.
Clear lower voice
The G is clear and well-defined in the lower register. Fast response and consistent character under varied bow pressure.
Solid, projecting foundation
The C provides a solid foundation with clear projection. Responds reliably across the lower register without muddiness.

How does Vision differ from Vision Solo?
The standard Vision is voiced for a balanced, bright sound suited to orchestral and ensemble playing. Vision Solo uses a Strong (Solo) voicing with higher tension, designed for soloists who need maximum projection and brilliance over a full orchestra.
How long do Vision strings last?
Under regular playing the tone stays consistent for several months. Replace when the sound becomes dull or intonation starts to go false. Wipe rosin off after each session to extend lifespan.
Are these strings authentic Thomastik-Infeld?
Yes. Symphonia stocks Thomastik-Infeld strings through the official supply chain. If a string is faulty on arrival or fails prematurely under normal use, contact us and we will arrange a remedy.
