About Vision Solo

Thomastik-Infeld Vision Solo strings provide enhanced power and projection compared to the standard Vision set. The Strong (Solo) voicing is designed for soloists who need maximum projection and brilliance, making them well suited to large performance settings where the viola needs to carry over a full orchestra.
The D string uses a Chrome winding, which contributes to the focused, bright character of the Solo voicing. The tone is clear and precise, with fast bow response that supports both lyrical playing and demanding technical passages.

Brilliant, commanding top voice
The A delivers brilliant, commanding projection from the top of the instrument. Fast response and strong presence at all dynamic levels.
Focused, projecting middle
