Easy-playing steel strings for 4/4 violin, designed especially for students. Piranito delivers a very bright sound without metallic harshness and responds readily under the bow.
About Piranito
Student-friendly response, clear steel-string sound.
Piranito strings use a single-filament steel core. The A string is wound with aluminium, while the D and G strings are wound with chrome steel.
The range is designed to provide an immediate, uncomplicated playing response at an accessible price, making it a practical choice for students and everyday learning instruments.

Can I return an opened string packet?
Opened strings are not eligible for a change-of-mind return. If a string is faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact Symphonia. See our returns policy for details.

Do I need to add individual strings as well as a set?
A set already includes its listed strings. Add an individual string only if you want an extra or a different string. Check the selected set’s contents before ordering.
What does “Available online only” mean?
That option is not currently held at our Auckland store and is available for delivery. It is not available for immediate store collection. Availability can differ between options, so check the label beside each item.
