Pirastro · Violin String
Insula,
warm and naturally resonant.
Pirastro’s high-tech synthetic core combines the flexibility associated with natural gut with the stability of a modern string. Warm, overtone-rich sound, smooth projection and direct response for 4/4 violin.
About Insula
Gut-inspired flexibility, modern stability.
Insula Polymer Technology is designed to capture the pliable playing feel and tonal complexity associated with gut while remaining stable through changes in temperature and humidity.
The result is a profound, warm tonal character with a broad spectrum of overtones and room-filling projection. Insula responds precisely to bow and finger action and settles quickly after fitting.
