Overview
Larsen Virtuoso violin strings combine a warm, clear sound with a responsive feel at relatively low tension. This range is for 4/4 violin in Medium tension, available as individual E, A, D and G strings or a complete set.

Complete set and individual strings
The complete set contains one Medium E, A, D and G string. The E has a removable ball for compatible ball-end or loop-style fittings.
Choose a complete set for NZ$155, or individual strings: E NZ$30, A NZ$32, D NZ$48 and G NZ$50. The set saves NZ$5 compared with the NZ$160 individual total.

Use the options above to match your instrument, size and string specification. Choose the quantity for each item you need before adding it to your cart.
Do I need to add individual strings as well as a set?
A set already includes its listed strings. Add an individual string only if you want an extra or a different string. Check the selected set’s contents before ordering.
What does “Available online only” mean?
That option is not currently held at our Auckland store and is available for delivery. It is not available for immediate store collection. Availability can differ between options, so check the label beside each item.
