Medium-tension 4/4 violin strings with a tin-plated carbon-steel E, aluminium-wound synthetic A, and silver-wound synthetic D and G. The standard and Solo E options have removable ball ends; A, D and G have ball ends.
The Solo E gives a brighter, more soloistic response. The Solo G offers a broader sound and a wider range of tonal colours. Choose the individual string required, or a matching complete set.

How do I choose a set or individual strings?
Use the options above to match your instrument, size and string specification. Choose the quantity for each item you need before adding it to your cart.
Do I need to add individual strings as well as a set?
A set already includes its listed strings. Add an individual string only if you want an extra or a different string. Check the selected set’s contents before ordering.
What does “Available online only” mean?
That option is not currently held at our Auckland store and is available for delivery. It is not available for immediate store collection. Availability can differ between options, so check the label beside each item.
