Evah Pirazzi Gold builds on the known Evah Pirazzi line by shifting the tonal character toward warmth and richness. The result is a full-bodied sound with a captivating depth and complexity that surpasses the standard Evah Pirazzi in warmth, while still delivering the powerful projection the Evah family is known for.
The G Gold string features a gold-wound construction that contributes the set's characteristic seductive warmth. These strings are equally suited to solo performances, chamber music, and orchestral playing.

What is the difference between Evah Pirazzi and Evah Pirazzi Gold?
The original Evah Pirazzi is overtone-rich and very bright with immense power. Evah Pirazzi Gold is warmer, rounder, and somewhat darker, offering a richer tonal palette that suits chamber and expressive solo playing. The G string uses a gold winding that gives the Gold its warmer character.
How long do Evah Pirazzi Gold strings last?
Several months under regular playing. Replace when the tone loses its warmth and depth. Wiping rosin off after each session extends lifespan.
Are these authentic Pirastro strings?

Do I need to add individual strings as well as a set?
A set already includes its listed strings. Add an individual string only if you want an extra or a different string. Check the selected set’s contents before ordering.
What does “Available online only” mean?
That option is not currently held at our Auckland store and is available for delivery. It is not available for immediate store collection. Availability can differ between options, so check the label beside each item.
