Ball end or loop end — which E Gold should I choose?
Loop end fits most fine tuners and adjusters. Ball end is required for tailpieces without a fine tuner loop attachment. Check your tailpiece fitting before ordering.
How long do Oliv gut strings last?
Gut strings generally have a shorter lifespan than synthetic strings, particularly in humid climates. Replace when the tone becomes unreliable, intonation drifts, or the string surface shows wear. Wipe rosin off after every session and store the instrument in a stable environment.
