Jade String Quartet invites audiences into an intimate afternoon of chamber music at Symphonia Hall, where warmth, clarity, and artistry meet in a beautifully curated programme.

The programme opens with Mozart’s String Quartet in D major, K.499, a work of elegance and balance, showcasing the composer’s refined lyricism and conversational interplay between instruments. This is followed by a contemporary composition from Aotearoa with two string quartets No. 6 and 7 by Erin Fagan.

The concert concludes with the deeply expressive Borodin String Quartet No. 2 in D major, beloved for its sweeping melodies and romantic intensity, including the iconic “Nocturne.”
