About the L4

The Müsing L4 is a carbon fibre violin bow with a relatively flexible stick. The result is a very smooth and round sound — expressive at the centre, with off-string strokes such as spiccato and ricochet that are easily controllable.
The bow responds quickly to changes in dynamic and speed, which makes it well suited to players who shape phrases through the bow rather than the left hand alone.

The L4 leans slightly more flexible than the Müsing C4 Classic. That flexibility produces a rounded, sweet tone and lets the bow sit comfortably on the string for long legato lines, while still finding the bounce for sautillé and ricochet.
