Wei Cao (Alan)
Wei Cao is an accomplished pianist from Beijing. He began studying piano at the age of 4 under the guidance of Professor Yao Jingzhuang from the Central Conservatory of Music. He holds a Bachelor's and a Master's in Piano Performance from the University of Auckland in New Zealand, where he had the privilege of studying under renowned musicians David Guerin and Stephen De Pledge. Cao has gained extensive experience as a piano accompanist and teacher, performing for leading institutions such as Beijing Normal University's Experimental School, Beijing Institute of Technology, and Takapuna's Shore Singers in Auckland.
Cao is also an extremely passionate educator. He has taught at Zishu Music Studio in Beijing and has made a significant contribution to the growth of young pianists and vocalists in various school choirs across Beijing. He has won first prize in the Beethoven category at the 6th Youth Piano Festival and International Youth Music Competition. He is also a holder of the LTCL Trinity Piano Performance Diploma with distinction. Cao combines his deep technical expertise with a profound love for classical music, offering both skill and inspiration to students and audiences alike.
