Wei Cao (Alan)

Wei (Alan) Cao is a piano teacher at Symphonia Music School. He holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Auckland, where he achieved an A+ for his Master's recital. He studied with Stephen De Pledge and David Guerin.
He holds an LTCL Piano Recital Diploma with Distinction and has over five years' experience teaching piano and accompanying instrumentalists and choirs. His students have achieved distinctions in ABRSM piano and saxophone exams (grades 5–8).
As a collaborative pianist, he regularly performs with saxophonists, violinists, flautists and choirs. He maintains high performance standards and explores repertoire beyond classical music.
His teaching focuses on building strong technical foundations, adopting a disciplined yet adaptable approach to suit each student. Theory is incorporated into his teaching. He teaches in both English and Mandarin.
