Why is performance experience important?

Students will:

Build Confidence

Overcoming Fear: Performing On-Stage helps students overcome performance nervousness, building confidence in challenging situations such as public speaking.

Achieving Goals: Preparing for performances helps students set goals and work towards achieving them.

Develops Discipline and Preparation

Discipline and Focus: The discipline required for practice and performance can translate to better focus and discipline in academic studies.

Time Management: Balancing practice with other responsibilities teaches valuable time management skills.

Improves Communication and Interaction

Audience Engagement: Performing in front of an audience teaches students how to engage and connect with listeners, enhancing their communication skills.
