Handmade construction gives each Opal Titan string even tension across its length, supporting stable intonation and consistent bow response from heel to tip. The synthetic core settles more quickly than gut, and the tonal character remains reliable across long rehearsals and humidity changes.
The tension profile is moderate. The titanium upper strings are responsive without being brittle, and the copper-silver lower strings accept varied bow weight without losing focus. The overall character suits orchestral and chamber playing where blend and intonation matter as much as projection.
