One full set sized for 1/8 – 1/4 violin: a regular steel E, plus aluminium-, silver-, and silver-wound synthetic A, D, and G strings.
Tonal character
Warm, focused, and stable.
Obligato strings are warm and full, with a brilliant, rich overtone spectrum and a focused tone. They offer excellent playability and response across the entire dynamic range.
Obligato strings are absolutely insensitive to variations in temperature and humidity.

This configuration replaces the standard goldsteel E with a regular steel E-string to offer a slightly different tonal balance.
