Obligato strings are described as warm and full, with a brilliant, rich overtone spectrum and a focused tone. Beloved by chamber and orchestral musicians for their great tone volume and exceptional blend, they offer excellent playability and response across the entire dynamic range.
Like other strings in this family, Obligato strings are absolutely insensitive to variations in temperature and humidity.
Set Configuration
This configuration is the E-Steel variant, which replaces the standard goldsteel E with a regular steel E-string to offer a slightly different tonal balance.
