Replace the full set when tone goes dull across the instrument, or when one string fails and the others are close to the same age. Replacing all four at once keeps response and tone consistent across the violin.
Can I buy a single string to replace one at a time?

Is this set the right size for my violin?
This set is sized for a 3/4 violin. The Dominant set is also available in 4/4 (full size) and 1/2. If you are unsure of the violin size, measure the back length or ask your teacher.
Can I return an opened set?
No. String sets cannot be returned once the packet has been opened, for hygiene and tension reasons.
Does this include the Dominant Pro strings?
No. This is the classic Dominant set, first released in 1970. The Dominant Pro is a separate product with a different tonal character and is listed separately.
