About the Petite PSR
One of three PSR types.
There are three different types of PSR shoulder rests; the Petite is shaped for younger players with smaller frames. Its single ridge and generally flat surface make it comfortable for most beginners.
How it fits
Installation, in four steps.
- Take the elastic loop and thread it through the nut of the violin in a slip knot.
- Place the shoulder rest on the bottom of the violin's back.
- Stretch the elastic over the shoulder rest.
- Attach the elastic to the two lowest corners of the violin so it forms a triangle. This allows the shoulder rest to move and adjust to the player.
