About the Accord Oblong Viola
The Accord Oblong Viola Case Ultralight weighs approximately 2.1 kg, with premium quality construction and custom colour options available. A simple, functional interior, built around ultralight foam isolation, makes the case lighter and the instrument safer at the same time.
This is the most lightweight XL viola case in the Accord range, thanks to its handmade pure carbon fibre shell and ultralight high-tech foam lining.
Interior fit
The oblong ACCORD viola case has an inner width of 31 cm and an inner height of 13.5 cm, and can be freely adjusted to the body length of any viola. Floating instrument suspension and adjustable padding with an extra set of cushions let the case be fitted precisely to your instrument's dimensions.
The viola is held in place by a leather neck band with a magnetic Fidlock snap. The shoulder rest has its own separate holder, so any type and size of shoulder rest can be stored securely without crowding the instrument.

Protection and insulation
Ecological and chemically neutral insulation does not interact with, or in any way harm, the finish of the instrument. A closed-cell system ensures excellent thermal isolation, and floating instrument suspension protects against shock and handling. Custom fitting is possible to match your specific viola.
Exterior and carrying
The case is finished with lock latches and a subway handle for quick access in crowded spaces. Nylon shoulder straps with soft Neoprene padding spread the load comfortably across the shoulders when you carry it as a backpack.
