Jade String Quartet invites audiences into an intimate afternoon of chamber music at Symphonia Hall, where warmth, clarity, and artistry meet in a beautifully curated programme.

The programme begins with Mozart’s String Quartet in D major, K.499, a graceful and beautifully balanced work that highlights Mozart’s lyrical writing, lively conversation, and brilliant (and fast!) finale. This is followed by contemporary works from Aotearoa: String Quartets No. 6 and 7 by Erin Fagan.

The concert ends with Borodin’s much-loved String Quartet No. 2 in D major, full of warmth, sweeping melodies, and romantic expression, including the famous “Nocturne.”
